Romeo and Juliet uses conflict and opposites expand its ideas.

Character in Romeo and Juliet are not always what they seem.
” Deny thy father and refuse thy name. Or, if thou wilt not. Be sworn my love, and ill no longer be a capulet”- Juliet

Characters in Romeo and Juliet aren’t always what they seem.  Juliet is men’t to be capulets little daughter who respects his rules and morals but as time goes on she falls in love at first sight as she sees Romeo a member of their families enemy. As Juliet states ” Deny thy father and refuse thy name. Or, if thou wilt not. Be sworn my love, and i’ll no longer be a capulet.”. Juliet then betrays her father and continues to be with Romeo. Juliet is also abandoning her name and her family.  

Romeo and Juliet explores the complex relationship between fate and free will. ” what if this mixture does not work at all? shall i be married then tomorrow morning? No, no shall forbid it; lie thou there.” – Juliet 

Romeo and Juliet explores the complex relationship between fate and free will as Juliet is worried that her and Romeo aren’t for each other but fate has put them together. Juliet has a little bit of guilt in her stomach as she knows she’s betraying her family but she understands her love for Romeo and wants to be with him forever. Juliet- ” What if this mixtures does not work at all? shall I be married then tomorrow morning? No, no shall forbid it; lie thou there.”. 

Shakespeare language is where his true genius lies. 
“if he be married my grave is like to be my wedding bed” – juliet
” blind is his love, and best befits the dark”
