As he made an appearance back in the west egg and reunited with daisy again he is more eager to get daisy back to complete his American dream. This started to make Daisy’s true colours shine and helped us as readers understand her as a person as when gatsby came back it’s almost like she completely forgot about her marriage with another man. throughout the whole story fitzgerald tries to make her character worthy of gatsby’s unlimited devotion. Daisy’s character with associations of light, purity, and innocence, when all is said and done, she is the opposite of what she presents herself to be. as the story goes on more of Daisy’s character is revealed and bit by bit she becomes less of an ideal and Gatsby and her relationship unfolds many unknown features of Daisy.
